By downloading or using Talk Like (“the App”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Description of the service
The App provides on-device practice recording, transcription, metrics, history, and insights as described on the TalkLike overview page. Features may change as Talks Inc improves the product.
No professional advice
Metrics and copy in the App are for self-improvement and practice only. They are not medical, psychological, legal, or professional advice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of law. You are responsible for content you record (for example, not recording others without consent where required by law).
Intellectual property
Talks Inc and its licensors own the App, branding, and site content unless otherwise noted. Apple and other third-party marks belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Talks Inc disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where prohibited.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talks Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the App.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Talks Inc from claims arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless a different governing law is required by your jurisdiction.
Changes
Talks Inc may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
